Es ist das Haus des Architekten Luis Barragan im Stadtteil Tacubaya von Mexiko-Stadt.
Im September 2004 wurde es in die Liste des UNESCO-Weltkulturerbes aufgenommen.

Die 1948 erbaute "Casa Luis Barragán" ist eines der international bedeutendsten Werke der zeitgenössischen Architektur. Tobias Stutz hat die Atmosphäre wunderbar eingefangen. Die Haptik des Betons, das Wasser im Pool und die besondere mediterrane Farbgebung des Gebäudes.

Wenn ich vor dem Bild stehe, fühle ich mich, als wäre ich in diesem Objekt.

Luis Barragáns Einfluss auf die Architektur weltweit wächst immer noch, und sein Haus, das originalgetreu so erhalten ist, wie sein Autor es bis zu seinem Tod im Jahr 1988 bewohnte, ist einer der meistbesuchten Orte in Mexiko-Stadt für Architekten und Kunstliebhaber aus aller Welt.

It is the house of the architect Luis Barragan in the Tacubaya district of Mexico City. In September 2004, it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Built in 1948, the "Casa Luis Barragán" is one of the most internationally significant works of contemporary architecture. Tobias Stutz has captured the atmosphere wonderfully. The feel of the concrete, the water in the pool and the special Mediterranean colouring of the building.
